Cycling in the Uckermark
Some of the most beautiful bike paths in Germany pass through the Uckermark. This is just one of the reasons why the Uckermark is ideal for active vacationers and cyclists. But watch out: The hills that make up the special character of our region can be quite challenging. But if you take a bit of momentum with you or ride an e-bike, you will always get over hill and dale in a relaxed manner.
Oder-Neisse cycle path (D-Route 12): 7 km from the hotel
The Oder-Neisse Cycle Route follows the course of the Neisse and Oder rivers along the German-Polish border to Usedom, crossing the Uckermark and the Lower Odertal National Park along the way. Here it is rather flatter, but no less eventful.
Uckermark cycle circuit: 6 km from the hotel
The route of the uckermärkischer Radweg (uckermark cycle path) leads along a scenically very varied circular route over 260 km through the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park, the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve and the Unteres Odertal National Park.
Long-distance cycle routes Berlin-Usedom / Berlin-Copenhagen: 12 km from the hotel
On the Berlin-Usedom long-distance cycle route, you will travel about 70 km through the Uckermark region, passing cultural and scenic highlights such as the largest contiguous reed beds in Germany.

Our personal insider tip:
The UNESCO World Natural Heritage Beech Forest Grumsin is located just behind Angermünde – one of the largest beech forests in Europe. Just follow the signposted Buchenblatt hiking trails! A real wilderness – and suitable for the young and old.
